The second season of the Dog O’Day fantasy football season is going pretty well so far as the 2021 NFL season continues to be a strange and unpredictable one.

Again, we’re using Yahoo as the site, and both site co-expert Wesley and columnist Holland the Pup have teams in Bark Attack and Holland’s Huddle, respectively.

Also returning from last year are the Dog Twitter pals of Ovie the Bulldog (@OvieTheBulldog) with the Cookie Crushers, PeytonReads (@PeytonReads) with Peyton’s Pack, and Sir Winston Da Doodle (@WinstonDaDoodle) with the Winston and Ollie Express.

Winston and Holland faced each in the inaugural championship matchup, and their real-life teams (the Raiders and Buccaneers, respectively) look like they might be on a Super Bowl collision course this season.

New to the league this year are Dog Twitter friends Wilma the Snoopervisor (@WilmaBenton19) leading Wilma’s Collieshangle (Scottish slang for a quarrel), Josie the Beagle coaching Josie’s Paw Posse and Moose the Creek Dog (@Creek_Moose) at the helm of Moose’s Creek Dogs.

The Dog O’Day fantasy football season 2 league is going pretty well so far.

With week 7 in the NFL in the books, that means that the fantasy football season is roughly halfway over.

Week 7 of the Dog O’Day fantasy football league saw Moose’s Creek Dogs improve to 6-1 with their 135.56-130.16 victory over Bark Attack, which fell to 3-4 on the season.

The Cookie Crushers weren’t far behind, as they also improved to 6-1 following their 152.04-135.34 win against the Winston and Ollie Express, who are now 1-6.

The most lopsided matchup of the Dog O’Day fantasy football league Week 7 saw Holland’s Huddle continuing the Tampa thumping of opponents, as they triumphed 214.96-61.74 over Josie’s Paw Posse. Holland’s team is now 4-3, while Jose’s team drops to 2-5.

Finally, while they’re allies in pursuing literacy and promoting kindness. longtime friends Peyton and Wilma didn’t hold back when it came to the fantasy football field, as Peyton’s Pack won by a  142.28-94.10 score. Both of those teams are now 3-4.

The top six teams will make the playoffs, which begin around Week 15 or thereabouts. For more on fantasy football news and helpful tips, see our FanSided Network sister site NFL Spin Zone for more information.
