Is Petco open on Christmas Day 2021?

Did you forget to pick up a present for your furry friend? Do you need to snag some dog or cat food? You may be wondering if Petco is open on Christmas.

We all know that things happen. And while Fluffy is out here looking cute and (you guessed it) fluffy, you realized that you’re out of their favorite dog treats or even the flavor of dog food they love the most. This means making a quick run to the pet store to snag what they want and need.

But it’s also Christmas Day. Which means that store hours are all over the place, with stores closing to allow their employees a chance to enjoy the holiday with their family members.

So with a list of things that Fluffy needs in hand, we need to know if Petco is actually open for us to get our pup’s needs met.

Will Petco be open on Christmas Day?

According to the Holiday Schedule, which compiles a complete list of hours for the holidays for a wide range of stores and restaurants, we are not in luck. Unfortunately for Fluffy (and us), Petco will be closed on Christmas Day this year.

That’s right, the pet store is closed on December 25 and that means we either need an alternative for snagging a treat or food for our furry friends (Walgreens, CVS, 7-Eleven come to mind as possible stops for snagging those treats and food needs) or we need to wait until Petco reopens on December 26.

Considering it is only one day, we are sure our pups can wait a day to get their favorite treats or a new toy (we are not above a little bribery).
