In the sixth episode of Only Murders in the Building, we once again were lacking in animal content, but we did get a conversation about Winnie the Bulldog. Obviously the investigation into the murder of Tim Kono was made personal when Oliver’s dog is poisoned and a threatening note is left on his door. But since that happened, we haven’t actually seen the pup on our screens.

While we did get the update that the pup had survived being poisoned and was currently with Oliver’s son (who just so happens to be a veterinarian), that was the last we heard about the adorable dog. And then the sixth episode of Only Murders in the Building, “To Protect and Serve,” gave us conversation between Oliver and Charles that acted as a reminder that we shouldn’t be forgetting about Winnie.

While we would never forget Winnie, it seems that Charles did in fact forget. During the conversation, it was clear that Charles was clueless as to who Winnie was, much to Oliver’s dismay.

Only Murders in the Building gave us a quick conversation about Winnie so we don’t forget the adorable Bulldog

The thing about this series is that it is all about the murder mystery and the podcast that is covering the amateur investigation into what happened. So, it does make sense that the dog wouldn’t be a major focus.

However, the fact that they actually made Winnie a part of the storyline by having someone poison the pup to get the podcast shut down actually makes us think that we will see more of Winnie at some point. And that doesn’t even take into account the fact that we even had an entire episode that seemed focus on a cat and the fact that the cat had died and had actually visited the apartment where the murder took place.

Honestly, there are so many storylines we need to cover and get answers to on Only Murders in the Building, but if we can see more Winnie, we will be happy.
