How well do you know your neighbors?” That is not only the title for episode 3 of Only Murders in the Building, it is also the question of the hour. And considering everything that went down in this episode alone, it is definitely one we have to ask ourselves on repeat.

In episode 2, we learn that one neighbor’s cat actually died on the same night as Tim Kono was murdered. And in episode 3, we find out what happened to the cat – Evelyn. You see, her owner has decided that the best way to figure out what happened to his fur child is to freeze her and then test her for poison.

But that wasn’t the only odd thing that happened in Only Murders in the Building on this episode. We also ran into Sting in the elevator. And while Winnie tried to make an impression on the singer, he was less than impressed.

In fact, his anti-dog stance may have made him into a suspect. But not just of killing Tim Kono, but of potentially poisoning Winnie the Bulldog! That’s right, it looks like Oliver has an enemy and they came after his dog to get him to stop the Podcast!

A frozen cat, a sick dog, and Sting as a suspect in episode 3 of Only Murders in the Building

The last thing we want is to see a dog or a cat being poisoned. And considering the shocking death of Evelyn, and the fact that poison has been mentioned, it makes sense that we are concerned about Winnie the Bulldog.

Winnie was a scene stealer in the premiere episode of Only Murders in the Building. And the fact that she has actually become a major part of the storyline in the third episode (even if it is towards the very end of the episode), actually seems fitting. We don’t want anything to happen to the dog, but it actually adds a whole new dimension to the series, especially as dog lovers who are tuning in as much for the animals of the building as the mystery itself.

After seeing that ending and what seems to be an attempt to hurt Winnie, we can’t wait to see what comes next. And one thing we really hope to see is a healthy Bulldog in Oliver’s apartment!
