By now we all know that our First Dogs, Major and Champ Biden are in Delaware following an incidence at the White House with our favorite First rescue pup. And while much of the focus has been on Major and what happened with him, why both pups are spending time in Delaware, and all of that, there is another member of the First Dogs who has been a bit less appreciated.

Of course I am talking about our very good boy, Champ. With both First Dogs in Delaware, and Major doing some extra training, it is time to find out a bit more about what the senior member of the team is up to.

It turns out that Champ is taking a bit of “me time” while the two pups are out of the White House. In a new post on Instagram, Champ Biden shared that “Being a senior dog has its perks.” And we would have to agree, after all, as our pups get older we do try to make sure that their lives are more comfortable.

In the case of our senior First Dog, it seems that while Major is getting some more hands-on training about how to handle strangers at the White House, Champ is getting the opportunity to “relax and nap.”

We are actually happy to see a solo post about Champ that is both positive and showing off how he is spending his time. For a change he isn’t having to defend himself against bullies, there is no drama with his brother, and basically this is all about him.

And it is nice to see that our senior pup is enjoying some time on his own, especially the extra naps. Hopefully we can see more posts like this moving forward, especially once both our First Dogs are back in the White House.
