Want some Doug the Pug face masks?
Doug the Pug face masks are now a thing, and you could win the complete collection with the social media superstar’s latest giveaway.
Announced on his Instagram page (the handle is @ItsDougThePug) on Monday, August 10, all four Doug the Pug face masks (available in leopard print with a large Doug face, and space-themed, light blue and orange/pink with small Doug faces) will be the prize, along with a 10-minute video chat with as many screenshots as the winner would like.
The rules of the contest are simple: you must be following Doug, and then tag as many people as you would like, one tag per comment, with each comment serving as a separate entry. A random winner will be chosen from the comments at a later date.
It should be noted that although Doug is a smash-faced breed prone to breathing issues, he still isn’t wearing the mask properly in this photo.
Doug will be making his film debut in the upcoming animated movie Connected in the role of family doggo Monchi the Pug. Human stars voicing characters in Connected include Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live, The Good Place), Danny McBride (The Angry Birds Movie), Abbi Jacobson and Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin.
These face masks can also be purchased on Doug the Pug’s website for $15 each, and since the pandemic began social media has been filled with helpful demonstration videos for teaching humans how to wear a mask correctly, as this Ohio police dog named Lucky shows.
Doug isn’t the only one of the Dogs of Instagram to offer a contest, either – Bark-Andre Furry is celebrating his 12th birthday with a contest of his own, giving away a total of 10 prizes: First place wins two bobbleheads, second place wins two stuffies, third place winners receive a Bark and Ovie pin, and fourth place winners receive a keychain.
To enter, you must live in either the US or Canada, be following both Bark and his younger brother Deke, and tag one person per comment. The winners will be announced on Monday, August 17.
