How did Dog Twitter celebrate Father’s Day 2020?

While dog moms get most of the love when it comes to pets and holidays, the dog dads rock, too, and we try to highlight them whenever possible.

So we dug through the best canine-related Father’s Day 2020 posts for a quick highlight reel as a way to say thank you.

Ovie the Bulldog obviously had to wish his dad Mike a happy holiday, but he went above and beyond by wishing all the fathers in the world a happy Father’s Day as well, which was a nice touch.

Canadian Penny (@CanadianPenny1) wanted to give a shoutout to all of her dad’s hard work behind the scenes in helping run her account.

“Happy Father’s Day to the best dad in the whole world,” Rally the Silver Lab wrote. “My best friend, fetch buddy, treat giver, big bed snoozle partner and walk buddy. I love you!”

Rally’s girlfriend Violet the Newfy (@Violet_TheNewfy) also wanted to wish her human dad a happy Father’s Day as well, but since he’s camera-shy, she posted a picture of her actual dad, Othello instead.

This works too, and he was just as handsome as Violet is pretty.

Actor Chris Evans (Marvel Cinematic Universe, Defending Jacob, Knives Out) is a great dog dad to Dodger (even if he totally fails as a groomer), and he wanted to give a shoutout to his dad, who had “the greatest mustache I’ve ever known.” It’s always fun seeing throwback celebrity photos.

We hope all the human and dog dads out there had a super holiday during Father’s Day 2020, filled with good things, whether that be food, naps or whatever else.
