Grooming one’s dog is not as easy as it may sound. And while we might want to give our pup’s a haircut, Chris Evans has learned the hard way that it’s a bad idea.

You know how so many people are recommending that we not give ourselves a haircut while we are in quarantine in our homes? Well, the same could be said for grooming our dogs. And Chris Evans seemed to find out the hard way just how tricky it can be to give a pup a haircut.

In a tweet shared by Evans, we got to see the results of his attempts at grooming his dog, Dodger, and well, let’s just say things did not go well at all, at least not for our glorious pup.

Apparently Chris Evans told Dodger that he didn’t have to worry and that he knew what he was doing. (But clearly he had no clue!)

And while Dodger was not in favor of being groomed by his daddy, a few treats changed his mind. Well, he should have listened to his doggy instincts.

Sadly, poor Dodger now has an area of his coat that is a bit more bald than the rest of his coat. Unfortunately, it seems that Dodger has not been shown this tragedy just yet, and Evans is clearly avoiding any chance of his pup seeing this terror in the mirror.

Now, I don’t know about you, but we still think Dodger looks majestic, even if he is dealing with a coat that has been butchered.

Going forward, we bet Chris Evans avoids doing anymore doggy grooming, at least for a while. Maybe he can take a few lessons and watch some videos to get better at his doggy hair clipping skills.
