Miranda Lambert got to meet social media star Doug the Pug

We all know that Miranda Lambert is a dog lover and now the country star is even spending time with social media darling, Doug the Pug.

From pet adoption stories to celebrities with pups, we love seeing dogs in the spotlight. And when we combine some of our favorite things, like celebrities and dogs, it feels like a winning combination. Which is why we were thrilled to see Miranda Lambert sharing a picture of herself with none other than social media star, Doug the Pug.

If ever there was a list made of legendary pups, Doug the Pug would have to be included. Not only does he have a massive social media following, but he is also the inspiration for a number of product lines, and of course, he also hangs out with celebrities.

And of course the latest celebrity that the social media darling has been seen getting to know is none other than our favorite dog loving country singer, Miranda Lambert.

In a post shared on Instagram by both Doug the Pug and Lambert, we get to see the singer cuddling up to the pup in front of a tour bus. And both posts keep the captions short and sweet.

On Miranda Lambert‘s post, she simply calls Doug the Pug a legend and tags his Instagram account. And over on the pup’s post, he decided to play off of her musical background with, “Pug gone Country.”

All things considered, we are obsessed with both of these celebrities. We love Lambert because of her work to help get rescue pups into new homes. And of course we love Doug because of his general adorableness, and the fact that he shares some of the cutest posts. So, having these two together in one picture is the kind of thing that simply made our day (weekend and maybe even our entire week).
