Walmart now carries Doug the Pug greeting cards

Doug the Pug continues to reign supreme as one of the more famous social media dogs, as he now has his own line of greeting cards at Walmart.

When it comes to social media famous dogs, one name pops up quite often – Doug the Pug. Not only has he made a name for himself on platforms like Twitter, but he has also been invited to walk red carpets and take part in a number of high-profile events. But, the latest sign of Doug the Pug’s popularity actually has to do with Walmart.

That’s right, the darling of social media and red carpets alike is now hitting up Walmart locations. Much like Doug had his own line of merchandise at Claire’s stores, there is now a line of greeting cards with the famous Pug’s mug on them.

And how do we know these cards exist? Lucky for us, Doug the Pug shared the news on his Twitter feed. Not only do we get to see a store end cap with the cards on display, but there is another picture posted with our favorite Pug showing off the cards.

While we have yet to see these cards for ourselves, we are excited to run to our closest Walmart to check them out. After all, nothing says fun communication quite like a greeting card with a pup on it. And when that pup just so happens to be a famous Pug with a large following, that just seems to make it even better.

From cards about friendship to birthdays, there looks to be a card for any occasion in this collection at Walmart. Plus, based on the pictures Doug the Pug’s Twitter account posted, it looks like there are at least seven cards to choose from, which we think is a lot of fun.

As fans of all things dog related, these greeting cards might just be a must have, even if we have no one to send them too. After all, we are perfectly fine with just collecting these Doug the Pug cards from Walmart to have for ourselves.
