Bark-Andre Furry, Las Vegas’ favorite dog, celebrated his birthday this week.

Las Vegas loves their Knights hockey, and celebrities in general, which includes Bark-Andre Furry.

The Jack Russell Terrier turned 11 in human years on Thursday, August 15, which is roughly 69 when translated into dog years. (It’s a little confusing figuring those up; for more on that, see our explanation).

Bark is the most famous of the Vegas Golden Knights hockey dog community, which includes pretty much every other dog in Southern Nevada, including their pals Sir Winston Da Doodle, Goldie the Yorkie,  Benny the Ice Skating Dog, and Benny’s cousin Snow in the Desert.

Bark and his brother Deke went to The Cosmopolitan with their biped for a staycation, and had a very good time.

(The Cosmopolitan is a dog-friendly hotel that gives every canine guest a complimentary box from Pupjoy. For more on this, see their website.)

Deke helped eat the cupcakes as well, and he might have indulged a little too much – he got sick afterwards.

Many human friends sent their well wishes across their Instagram stories and Twitter posts, including Goldie’s biped Logan, The Girl with the Hat, who wrote in part, “Happy birthday to my awesome doggo pal!”

Bark’s friend and pen pal Rookie the Batdog made sure to wish his pal well, and even made sure the Trenton Thunder showed his picture on the scoreboard at Arm and Hammer Park.

“Hockey season is getting closer, and I know you can’t wait to see your Golden Knights in action,” Rookie said. “Hope you have a great day!”

“It’s been an unbelievable year hanging out with you and getting into all kinds of fun shenanigans,” his good buddy Ovie the Bulldog, a Capitals fan, wrote.

The staff of Dog O’Day are thrilled he had a great day, and want to point out that it’s only around seven weeks until the 2019-20 NHL season starts.
