Tubi continues its Scooby-Doo streak into May 2025

If you're not already watching Tubi for Scooby, what are you doing?

Since the closure of Boomerang, Scooby-Doo has been in a near-drought. While we used to be able to watch any Scooby-Doo movie we wanted, Warner Bros and Max, by extension, have made that nearly impossible.

While it seemed like a solid move in 2024, it's truly become a nightmare for those of us who love and want to watch Scooby-Doo. The one silver lining is that Tubi has some Scooby-Doo shows and movies on its platform. Tubi is also free, which is something Max can't boast.

Every month, Tubi shares some of the new shows and movies headed to its platform. The other thing is that if you're watching something, you get a countdown on how many days until it leaves the platform. While Tubi has some classics like Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and What's New, Scooby-Doo?, they're adding more.

So far in 2025, we've gotten a few specials each month, but in May, we're only getting two. Then again, two is way more than Max is giving us, so there's truly nothing to complain about. If anything, this might be the push you need to finally give Tubi a chance.

Tubi is adding even more Scooby-Doo to its platform in May.

Despite Tubi only adding two specials in May, they're both classics. First is Scooby-Doo! And The Reluctant Werewolf. This was released in 1988, and if you haven't watched, you're in for a real treat. It is such a fun one and one I know I'll be doing a Rewind Review of. It's one I watched as a kid that I have yet to revisit.

The other one Tubi is adding is Scooby-Doo's Arabian Nights. This is another one I watched as a kid and know I want to revisit. Released in 1994, this one features more than just Scooby-Doo and is one I honestly remember nothing about. However, that has me even more excited to see if it's one worth streaming or skipping.

While Scooby-Doo is the main focus, Tubi is adding some other fun ones, including Open Season, Open Season 2, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. No matter which animals you love, you're sure to find something to give you your fix on Tubi.
