Baseball is America's pastime; we all know that. However, one thing America also loves is Peanuts or, specifically, Snoopy. Everyone remembers turning on the TV and watching those Charlie Brown holiday specials every season.

Even if you're not a baseball fan, you might want to make plans to be in Boston on April 22nd. The Boston Red Sox are planning a special night themed after the Peanuts 75th Anniversary. You can find more info on the team's website, but let's go through the highlights.

Currently, there are only regular tickets available as the VIP tickets are currently sold out, which is disappointing. For those who purchased the VIP tickets, they're getting something even more special: a special Peanuts-themed jersey. The jersey is modeled after Charlie Brown's iconic yellow shirt and features "Red Sox" on the front of it.

In addition, VIP ticket holders get early access to the game for some pregame entertainment, which is noted. For those who didn't get the VIP tickets, then you're in luck as fans will also be getting a Snoopy beltbag which features Snoopy rocking a Boston Red Sox cap. The belt bag also features the iconic "B" from the team's logo on it.

Peanuts serve as the perfect theme for an fun MLB night.

Loads of MLB teams have different themed nights, but there is something so special about using the Peanuts. While most focus on Snoopy, there is some surprising history between Peanuts and baseball. In doing some research, I found a clip of Charlie Brown playing baseball in A Boy Named Charlie Brown, which was released in 1969.

In addition to that, there are also some great baseball clips featured in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, which was released in 1985. Most people think of Charlie Brown, Lucy, and the football, but Charlie Brown is a multi-faceted athlete. He not only plays football but also baseball, so it makes this collaboration even cooler.

The good news is that all of the Peanuts/Charlie Brown specials are streaming on Apple TV if you're not able to get to Boston or aren't a baseball fan. Sometimes, it's nice to be able to stay home and enjoy a little Peanuts. However, if you're able, it would be a fun way to spend a Tuesday evening.
