Peanuts is one of the most beloved fandoms out there. Everyone has a favorite Peanuts character from Charlie Brown to Lucy to Snoopy and even, Woodstock.
The one thing there is no shortage of is great Peanuts-themed merchandise. It's especially true when looking at Funko's lineup. There are so many great items to choose from no matter who your favorite character is.
If there's one Peanuts member we rarely hear about, it's Charlie Brown. While Charlie Brown is technically the main character, most of us talk about Snoopy instead. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's nice to be able to show some love to Chuck.
That's why I had to share the newest iteration of Charlie Brown released by Funko which is him with his kite. While most of us think about Charlie Brown and a football, his kite does make an appearance in many different shows, movies, and of course, the Peanuts comic strip.
Charlie Brown isn't just getting one new Funko Pop! figure.
At this time, the Charlie Brown with Kite figure has yet to be released. However, upon looking up that figure, I saw that another Charlie Brown Pop! figure is coming soon as well. We're going to be getting a Good Grief! Charlie Brown Pop! figure. This time, the figure features Charlie Brown and a speech bubble above him saying "Good Grief!" As we all know, that's Charlie Brown's signature catchphrase so this is exciting.
There have been other Charlie Brown Funko Pop! figures in the past but it's nice to see our good pal, Chuck getting even more love. Honestly, Charlie Brown has gotten some love within the past few years, especially from Apple which now owns the rights to the Peanuts brand. Apple has produced a handful of series and movies if you're craving even more Charlie Brown.
Honestly, Funko never disappoints with its releases, and these two Charlie Brown Pop! figures are just the latest example. We can only hope Funko decides to release even more Peanuts-themed Pop! figures in 2025.
