While Scooby-Doo has been around for decades, most modern Scooby-Doo fans remember their first time experiencing a direct-to-video film. With the first release in 1998, it's basically become a tradition for WB to produce one.

Unfortunately, WB didn't give us a new Scooby-Doo film in 2024 and it's unclear if we're going to get one in 2025. Additionally, there are also whispers of some Scooby-Doo shows possibly being removed from Max. As sad as it is to see, it's not surprising.

Instead of talking about the negative, let's talk about the positives, and one of those is all the Scooby-Doo movies hitting a milestone in 2025. Surprisingly, there are a handful of movies to talk about as 8 different titles are hitting a milestone this year. With that being said, we have a lot of movies to talk about.

Whether you grew up with some of these films or just love Scooby-Doo, there are some gems among these 8 picks so let's get into it.

These 8 Scooby-Doo movies are celebrating an anniversary in 2025.

1. Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders (2000)

The first milestone we're starting with is the 2000's Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders. This film was released in 2000 so it's turning 25 in 2025. It's hard to believe this movie came out 25 years ago yet it feels like a more realistic portrayal of aliens than most of us have seen in the last 25 years. Either way, this movie feels like a fever dream and something completely out of the Scooby-Doo canon yet it works. Unfortunately, it's not currently on Max so if you're in the US, you're unable to stream it.

2. Aloha, Scooby-Doo! (2005)

Moving to the films turning 20 in 2025, the first is Aloha, Scooby-Doo! The film follows the gang as they're headed to Hawaii because Daphne is designing some swimwear but that takes a backseat to the real mystery. The gang has to uncover who the Wiki-Tiki spirit is and why it's trying to ruin the surf competition. While things do the typical route, this is a fun one. This is one available to stream on Max.

3. Scooby-Doo! in Where's My Mummy? (2005)

The other 2005 release is Scooby-Doo! in Where's My Mummy? This one takes the gang to Egypt as they're visiting Velma in her effort to restore the Sphinx. Things aren't exactly as they seem when Cleopatra comes back and tries to petrify anyone who stands in her way. If this one sounds a little bonkers, it is but this is one I remember watching and enjoying when I was young. This title is currently not on streaming.

4. Scooby-Doo! Abracadabra-Doo (2010)

Released in 2010, Scooby-Doo! Abracadabra-Doo is one of the few direct-to-video Scooby films I haven't seen. However, this one follows the gang as they're headed to visit Velma's sister: Madelyn at a magic academy. Of course, there's also a gryphon visiting as well and the gang wants to make sure the gryphon is dealt with and Madelyn is safe. This film also marks the first time Matthew Lillard voiced Shaggy in an animated film which is pretty cool to note. This is currently streaming on Max.

5. Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare (2010)

While I hadn't seen the previous film, this is one my nephew absolutely loved so this is one I've seen a lot. Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare is the quintessential summer Scooby movie as we're following the gang as camp counselors. They're all going to Fred's old summer camp: Camp Little Moose and trying to figure out who the Woodsman is. As far as storylines go, Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare has one of the best ones and finding out who the villain is is pretty satisfying. Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare is currently streaming on Max.

6. Scooby-Doo! Moon Monster Madness (2015)

For the films turning 10 years old, there is Scooby-Doo! Moon Monster Madness. It's weird to think that two alien Scooby films are on this list. This time though, the gang is headed to space after Daphne and Velma win a contest. With many others attending and some aliens to boot, there are loads of questions and different plots featured in this movie. Overall, it's a decent watch although it isn't currently streaming anywhere.

7. Scooby-Doo! and Kiss: Rock and Roll Mystery (2015)

The other film celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025 is Scooby-Doo! and Kiss: Rock and Roll Mystery. As far as unlikely collabs go, this is one I never saw coming and is another Scooby movie I hadn't watched yet. Regardless, this film follows Kiss and the Scooby gang as they're teaming up to stop the Crimson Witch from ruining Kiss' big Halloween concert. This film also has a soundtrack which is downright cool. Unfortunately, it's not completely cool as this one is unavailable to stream.

8. Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! (2020)

Last but not least, we're talking about Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! which was released in 2020. This is one we've discussed in the past but if you didn't know, it's a Halloween-themed Scooby-Doo film featuring some of the most iconic personalities including Elvira, Bill Nye the Science Guy, and Scarecrow from the Batman franchise. While these three might seem unlikely, they bring a lot of fun to the film. This is another film not currently streaming anywhere.
