Everyone is getting ready for the holiday season including our favorite Sanrio characters as evidenced by the newest addition to the Hello Kitty and Friends YouTube channel.

The series is now in its 8th season and is going strong with lots of fun content and episodes for everyone to enjoy. If you’re looking for a comfort series, then look no further than this freebie to enjoy on YouTube.

While episodes have focused on other characters, I knew I had to cover the channel’s holiday episode which is called “Hello Kitty Holiday Cookie Swap.” This is just Part 1 of the episode so I’m sure we’ll be seeing more in near future.

No matter if you’re a foodie or just love Hello Kitty, you’ll get a kick of this short. The episode starts with Keroppi and Chococat in the store together. They get interrupted by Kuromi and Badtz-Maru barging into the store until Hello Kitty comes in to invite them to her cookie swap party. It’s just as cute as it sounds.

While the story starts off with the group as a whole, it eventually goes into how all of the different characters are working on their cookies and what they’re bringing to the cookie swap. It’s such an adorable episode and honestly, I can’t wait to see what happens in Part 2. I mean these characters are so cute so how could you not want to watch?
