Hello Kitty and Friends x Care Bears are a collab of dreams

Hello Kitty is one of the most popular figures out there. Decades later, she’s still beloved and she’s joining forces with a crew known for caring: Care Bears.

If you’re unfamiliar, there is a Care Bears TV series which is what the animation style of the graphic shared is from. In the Instagram post shared by the official Hello Kitty and Care Bears, it says: “You can never have too many friends Hello Kitty and Friends x Care Bears is coming very soon!”

As soon as I saw that, I was dying to write about it. I mean the Sanrio gang already has some fun characters and adding Care Bears into the mix?! Sign me up!

Since we don’t know many details just yet, I’m hoping it’s some new merchandise or maybe Hello Kitty and Friends are headed to Care-A-Lot.

Hello Kitty and Friends x Care Bears is a lot to be excited about.

Originally, it felt a bit hopeless, trying to figure out what was going on. Upon doing a little Internet sleuthing (aka going on Reddit,) I was able to figure it out. If the Redditors are to be believed, there’s going to be a line of plushes featuring these two. It looks like our favorite Sanrio characters will be dressing up like Care Bears. I don’t know about you, but that sounds so cute.

Even though the products are now sold out, these two beloved brands came together for a Loungefly collection. It was based upon the classic Care Bears design and was something I wish I could get my hands on. Either way, I’m excited to see that two brands that have been around for decades are coming together for something new.

Then again, maybe we’ll see some of our favorites from Sanrio including Hello Kitty end up on the new Care Bears show. While some have thoughts on the animation, it really is a cute show and is something that helped calm me down during some hectic mornings. Regardless, I couldn’t just breeze past this announcement and not share how exciting it is for my fellow Sanrio x Care Bears girls.
