Ever since President Biden and the First Lady introduced us to their new cat Willow, she has definitely made an impression on the White House. After all, she did introduce yourself by stealing the show from the First Lady during a 2020 campaign rally.

From being a regular barn cat, to the First Cat of the United States, Willow Biden is definitely not an ordinary cat. But, no cat is ordinary. So is it any surprise, that when the president was talking during a commemoration event celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year, he ended up sharing a very relatable story about what his cat gets up to at night?

So what exactly did President Biden reveal about his cat?

This is what President Biden revealed about Willow’s night time activities

According to The Dodo, this is what the President had to say about Willow,

"She has no limits. You think I’m kidding. I’m not. Especially in the middle of the night, when she climbs up and lays on top of my head."

That’s right! Even the President of the United States is not free from cat climbing on his head to sleep. Apparently, this is a universal activity that all cats are able to get away with it.

Our own staff cat is a big fan of sleeping at our shoulder, on our head, or even just purring in our ear. So it is nice to know that Willow does the exact same thing to the president himself. It’s honestly a super cute story that we never expected to get.

We love getting stories out of the White House about the Biden pets. And while we do get to see some random posts about both Commander and Willow, we love when it is little anecdotes from either the President or the First Lady. It just makes the story that much more special.
