Fancy Feast introduces Gatto Bianco – an Italian Trattoria for all cat lovers

In case you were unaware of this, Fancy Feast is the most popular brand of gourmet wet cat food in the United States. Fancy Feast actually just announced today the opening of “Gatto Bianco by Fancy Feast” – it just so happens to be a limited-time Italian-style eatery in New York City.

Fancy Feast released this brand new experience as a result of celebrating their brand new line of Medleys recipes.

What will this new culinary experience bring?

According to Purina, cats and cat lovers alike will be able to enjoy mealtime together, even including an appearance from the actual Fancy Feast spokeskitty herself!

For humans, their dish options will be inspired by the new Medleys flavors being released that are going to resemble classic Italians flavors and dishes. These brand new recipes have actually been created and developed by Fancy Feast’s in-house chef, Amanda Hassner, who just so happens to be a Michelin Star-winning Italian chef. Her counterpart on this whole thing is NY famous restaurateur, Cesare Casella.

Where is this new experience located?

This establishment is located in between the Far West Village and the Meatpacking District in NYC.

What’s the deal? How and when can I make a reservation?

Gatto Bianco will only be opened for dinner on Thursday, August 11th and Friday, August 12th. Reservations are super limited and there will only be four reservations allowed per evening starting at 6:30 pm.

Each reservation can only include 2 guests, over the age of 21, and their cat(s) of course. The 16 lucky winners will get to experience a complimentary tasting menu that, as Chef Casella says, “…will transport them to Italy for the evening”.

In order to make a reservation for the super limited-time Gatto Bianco experience, you’ll have to wait…but only until August 4th at 12:00 pm EST! Through OpenTable, guests and users alike can visit FancyFeast.com/Reservations to try and secure their spots! Reservations have super limited times and are only able to be booked based on their availability.

What are these new Medleys recipes and how much do they cost?

Fancy Feast Medleys are now available at many retailers that sell your kitty’s most favorite foods. Each can will retail for roughly $1.13 each, though prices are subject to change based on where you live.

As far as the new flavors and recipes go, there are four different categories and they go as follows:

The Poultry Collection

  • Tender Turkey Primavera
  • White Meat Chicken Florentine
  • Turkey, Spinach, and White Meat Chicken

The Seafood Collection

  • Wild Salmon Primavera
  • Tuna Florentine
  • Whitefish, Rice, and Shrimp

The Taste of Italy Collection

  • White Meat Chicken Florentine
  • White Meat Chicken Primavera
  • Wild Salmon Primavera
  • Tender Turkey Tuscany
  • Tuna Florentine

The Tuscany Collection

  • Tuna Tuscany
  • White Meat Chicken Tuscany
  • Wald Salmon Tuscany
