As we all know, the Oscars were this past Sunday (March27). Sure, there was a fair share of drama that we’ll never hear the end of; however, what about all of the good stuff that happened?

One thing that certainly stuck out to us was something about John Travolta’s 11-year old son who decided to do something absolutely beautiful and amazing. Ben, Travolta’s son, saw Mac N Cheese the dog up on center stage with beloved Halloween actress, Jamie Lee Curtis. Ben saw him and immediately fell in love, according to a post done by Mr. Travolta himself on Instagram.

Betty White loved animals – don’t we all! See how Ben Travolta adopted a pup in her honor from the Oscars!

On Sunday at the 94th annual Oscars Awards, Jamie Lee Curtis came on stage to do some sort of mini little animal rights segment, in honor of Betty’s White’s passing at the very end of 2021. It was during the In Memoriam segment of the show, and in all honesty, the results of such a thing couldn’t have been better……or cuter for that matter!

First of all, the name alone would make me wanna adopt this sweet little pup. I mean who doesn’t want a pup named after one of the greatest things in the food world of all times, am I right?!

According to Curtis’ Instagram post, the adoption made by Travolta’s son was an absolute ‘magical’ ending to the story! And boy was she right! When she found out that the adoption had officially happened she was nothing short of happy. The fact that his son wanted to do this all by himself not only says a lot about his character, but also speaks absolute volumes about how he was raised.

This was legit the perfect tribute to Betty White after the fact!

The rescue where Mac N Cheese came from, Paw Works, also celebrated this beloved adoption moment on Instagram, stating this following quote the night and moment that it happened:

"“On a night of winners and losers, we think Mac N Cheese is the biggest winner of all!”"

Boy were they right!
