DC League of Super-Pets has revealed the star behind their Batman
Set to release on May 20, DC League of Super-Pets is the superhero movie we never knew we needed in our lives (although we are obsessed with super pets in general). And yet, their latest news is the kind of detail that has us even more excited for this upcoming animated feature.
While trailers for League of Super-Pets have mostly focused on introducing us to the super pets, with an emphasis on Krypto the SuperDog and the fact that his owner is Superman, we do know that Ace the BatDog is also going to be a major part of the movie. And if Ace is in the movie, that means we will also have an animated Batman too.
On March 6, we learned perhaps the most exciting news yet when it comes to League of Super-Pets. We finally learned who will be voicing Batman in the movie.
The newest Batman of the DC universe is none other than Keanu Reeves! Are you screaming with us? We are so excited by this news and for so many reasons (his love of dogs is definitely at the top of this list).
DC League of Super-Pets reveals that Keanu Reeves is their Batman
Honestly, we knew that Reeves would be a part of this movie, as his participation in the film had already been confirmed, but this news, which was shared by ComicBook.com, is the first we have heard about who he will be voicing.
In a new teaser from the film that apparently teases us with the first meeting between Ace and Batman, we finally get to hear Keanu Reeves bring the character to life. And it is EVERYTHING. Seriously, this clip is the best thing ever and we are living for the humor of it all.
Because the greatest thing about DC League of Super-Pets is that it is ridiculous and it leans into that ridiculousness. And if you want to finally hear Keanu Reeves take on Batman (a role we didn’t know would be so amazing), check out the clip below:
What do you think? Are you a fan of Keanu Reeves taking on the role of Batman? Was this the character you thought he would be voicing? What do you think of this clip/teaser? Let us know.
