Keanu Reeves gave an interview while playing with puppies. It’s pretty great.

Whether you know him as Ted Logan, Neo or John Wick, Keanu Reeves is one of the most likable actors in Hollywood. (Tom Hanks still tops the list, though.)

To promote his new film John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Reeves gave an interview lasting about five minutes with BuzzFeed while playing with puppies. (They made sure to celebrate National Puppy Day, so it makes sense.)

Reeves answered fan questions in a very dramatic tone while three or four brindled puppies pranced and wrestled around his likely-very-expensive suit.

The puppies were the recipients of lots of baby talk and kisses.

Asked what the craziest stunt involved during the John Wick trilogy, he answered that it was a gunfight on horseback through the streets of Brooklyn. That certainly sounds bonkers.

Reeves will be portraying Duke Kaboom, “Canada’s greatest stuntman,” in the upcoming Pixar movie Toy Story 4, which releases in June.”It’s a cool character, and a wonderful story.” (We think Pixar should have left it a perfect trilogy, but we’ll see it for sure just the same.)

If he had a Time Turner, a TARDIS or a DeLorean and could travel back in time, he would visit Elizabethan England to watch Shakespeare plays live. He is of the opinion that Shakespeare was a pen name, really written by the Earl of Oxford, Edward De Vere. (A vocal minority believe this. It’s an interesting theory.)

If he could play any character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the DC Extended Universe, he would pick Wolverine, since he wanted to be the character as a kid. He would be a great choice, though it would be hard to top Hugh Jackman’s portrayal. (For more on superhero news, see our sister site Bam Smack Pow.)

Asked if John Wick and Ted Logan (from Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure) would get along: “Yeah, that’d be an interesting conversation. Maybe they could talk about music.” (We would like to see this.)

Other good tidbits: Riding a motorcycle is like being a puppy, we are not living in The Matrix, peanut butter and honey sandwiches rock.

Next. John Wick is a dog lover's action series. dark
