Commander Biden is doing her official duty as First Pup and wishing everyone a happy New Year with multiple social media messages!

Early in the day on New Year’s Eve, our newest First Pup took to social media and The Oval Pawffice pages to share that she was going to be enjoying some “zoomies” with our favorite rabbit, Poppet. And at the same time, Commander also mentioned getting a chance to woof with her older brother, Major.

While Major is no longer living in the White House, it is clear that the First Dog is not far from anyone’s thoughts. And that includes Commander’s!

But of course, beyond sharing plans for the day and what had already happened, Commander also returned to social media with a few more messages for followers of The Oval Pawffice social media pages.

Commander Biden is wishing us all a Happy New Year to kick off 2022

In follow up posts, after sharing her plans for the day, Commander also woofed a Happy New Year to all of The Oval Pawffice followers. This was then followed up with an additional post that wished everyone a Happy New Year before going on to say,

"May 2022 bring you all the nom noms and tumny scritches your hearts desire. I’m ready to pawty!"

Now we may not be ready to party as we head into 2022, we are loving the sentiment of this post. And we love the fact that the new First Pup has truly gotten into the spirit of the holiday.

We love that the First Pup not only mentioned Poppet in their New Year’s Eve posts, but also that Major was clearly not forgotten either. We miss Major, even as we are loving the newest addition to the White House.
