This restaurant in Carmel, California is not only dog friendly, but it offers a Canine Cuisine Menu

Visiting California with your dog? Or live in the state and looking for a pup-friendly restaurant? Then you need to check out The Forge!

Formerly known as The Forge in the Forest, this Caramel, California restaurant is known for a number of things, but for us, it is all about the fact that they are a dog friendly establishment.

But they aren’t just dog friendly, they actually have a dedicated menu for our dogs which can be found on their website under the menu section. The dog menu is labeled Canine Cuisine and it features five dishes just for our pups to enjoy.

When it comes to finding a dog friendly restaurant, there are some that say they are, and then there are places like The Forge that prove it.

This Carmel, California restaurant caters to humans and canines alike

So what exactly is on the menu for our dogs are The Forge? The Canine Cuisine menu includes:

  • Plain Ol’ Kibble – This is just a simple cup of crunchy dog food for $2.50. It lets your pup join you for dinner with no guilt.
  • Hot Diggity Dog – For just $3.95, your pup can enjoy an all-beef hot dog of their own.
  • The Quarter Hounder – Your furry friend can drool over this quarter pound of beef for $5.95.
  • Hen House Chicken Strips – Is your pup more of a chicken fan? The restaurant has them covered with five ounces of skinless, boneless chicken breast for just $5.95
  • Good Dog – Now this one is a bit more expensive, and perhaps for the very best boy (and girl) out there, as this is $12.95 for eight ounces of New York Steak that has been grilled and sliced.

When it comes to finding dog friendly places to eat, knowing that there are restaurants that actually have their own dog menu can be a deciding factor in choosing where to dine. And knowing that The Forge has their own Canine Cuisine Menu is enough to have us saying yes please.
