Have you ever wanted to visited a Medieval Faire with your furry friend? At this Michigan faire, your dog is invited to join the festive fun too!

In Lake Orion, Michigan, there is a Medieval Faire that offers visitors everything they would expect from an event like this and so much more. Not only do they have knights in shining armor, but there is a jousting event, fire breathing, musicians, and of course plenty of mead and meat.

However, the joy of this particular Medieval Faire is the fact that it is actually dog friendly! That’s right, we can take our pups with us on a stroll through a Medieval Faire.

According to the faire’s FAQ page,

"Yes, however only dogs are welcome – you must review and fully comply with the The Olde World Canterbury Village’s Dog Policy (Dog Policy Link). No other pets other than dogs will be permitted on the grounds"

The faire is scheduled for July 24 and 25, with hours for the event being 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on both days. Tickets are available online right now, and if you purchase the tickets ahead of time, they start at just $9.99 per person. There is an additional fee for parking, but according to the site, that fee is just $5.

If you are searching for something to do this summer with your pup in tow, then this could be the perfect way to spend a weekend in Michigan. And the fact that we can stroll with our pups, enjoy a show or two, and indulge in some delicious food has us ready to plan our end of July travel plans right now.
