Even the First Dogs have to deal with banking issues

Since entering the White House, the First Dogs have made it clear that the purpose of their social media accounts and The Oval Pawffice website is to raise awareness and money for good causes. Not only have they already raised money for at least three charities (including the most recent month of fundraising which supported the SPCA of Texas), but they are already planning for their next charitable push.

However, just because they are our First Dogs, that doesn’t mean they don’t have to deal with some of the same issues that we humans do. In fact, according to a post on Instagram, it seems that even Champ and Major Biden have to deal with banking drama.

In an Instagram post on April 1, the First Dogs gave us a pupdate about the March fundraising efforts. And it seems that they learned the hard way that there are limits when it comes to withdrawing funds from the bank.

It makes sense that Champ and Major might not know a lot about how banks work, so this is actually not the biggest surprise ever.

Banking issues cause a delay in the First Dogs sharing fundraising news

Ultimately, the First Dogs will still be able to get their donation out to the SPCA of Texas, but they just do it in two donations. And that likely means that in March they were able to raise a good chunk of money for animals in need in Texas.

For anyone interested in not only learning how much they were able to donate, as well as which organization they will be supporting in April, the First Dogs made it clear that we will be making an official announcement on April 2.

We can’t wait to see which charity they will be supporting in April, and of course, we can also appreciate banking issues since we’ve been there before.
