The First Dogs officially arrived in the White House on Jan. 25 and on their very first full day in office, Major and Champ Biden even released a statement!

On Twitter, The Oval Pawffice account, which is the official account for Winston, Champ, and Major Biden released their very first statement from The White House. In the statement, which comes specifically from our First Dogs, we get a look at both pups’ first day in office, although this is of course not the first time that Champ has been here.

So what exactly did the First Dogs have to say? Well there was a lot of woofing that happened with a final Awoooof to wrap things up.

Of course, there is a human translation to go with all those woofs. because it’s not always that easy to decipher what our pups have to say to us.

The First Dogs released a statement on their first day in the White House

Apparently the pups are loving their White House experience already. There is a lot of petting happening, naps are taking place on couches, and there seems to have been a digging session scheduled in the garden for their second full day at the White House. And it seems that the purpose of their upcoming Rose Garden digging is in an effort to “expedite renovations to return it to its former glory.”

All in all, it sounds like the First Dogs have already settled into the White House and are enjoying the freedom to explore their new home. And they are also planning ahead for the days to come, which is pretty exciting.

We can’t wait to see what Major and Champ Biden have in store for us as they continue to enjoy their time in the White House. And of course, we look forward to seeing what Winston has to say as the feline has not really offered up much in the way of commentary just yet.

We also have to point out that after the statement from the First Dogs, we also got to see a look back at Champ’s first time in the White House, as well as a new image as DOTUS!
