There has been a second incident at the White House and this time it seems to involve a bit of poop in a hallway. And we don’t even know which pooch did it.

That’s right everyone. News is breaking that one of the Biden pups has taken a dump in the White House! Not only is the AP reporting about this latest break in protocol, but it seems to be garnering a lot of attention on social media.

Maybe it’s just me, but when a reliable source is running around to the media to let us all know that a First Dog has taken a poop, you know it is a slow news day. Or maybe there is a feline in the White House who has it out for our First Dogs! We may never know!

What we do know is that one of the Biden pooches left a little gift on the red carpet in the hallway outside the Diplomatic Reception Room. It’s not the first time one of our First Dogs has had an accident inside the White House. In fact, Michelle Obama once revealed that their pup, Sunny, was known to sneak off to poop in the house (the White House that is).

Whether you are a fan of the First Dogs or not, we have to remind everyone that dogs will be dogs. Not only are we talking about a senior pup with Champ, but there is also Major who is a rescue dog. Both of these dogs are dealing with an entirely new situation, even if Champ has previous White House experience.

And there are plenty of us normal people who have dogs that have had an accident before. There is nothing all that newsworthy about a dog pooping in the house. It’s not fun, but we clean it up and we move on.

Obviously, the only reason this is such a big deal is that this is the White House, and these are our First Dogs. (Of course, in my mind the only reason we even know something happened is clearly there is a spy kitty in the White House telling tales on our pups, and no I don’t mean Winston Biden who is a very good First Cat.)

When it comes to the First Dogs, we want to know it all. But just because we want all the details, that doesn’t necessarily mean we want to know when poop happens.
