The complete list of NJCAA feline mascots
While many National Junior College Athletic Association schools use canine mascots (most notably the Navarro Bulldogs of Netflix’s Cheer), we also love out feline friends here at Dog O’Day, and so now we’re tracking the complete list of NJCAA feline mascots at editorial assistant cat Rags’ insistence.
While many schools have “community college” or “junior college” in their names, for easier typing those will henceforth be abbreviated “CC” and “JC”.
The National Junior College Athletic Association is the governing body of college sports at two-year institutions, and they are headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, overseeing schools in roughly 38 conferences across three divisions in 24 states, participating in baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, diving, football, golf, half marathon, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, wrestling and volleyball (indoor and beach).
