Poshmark has launched their latest reselling category and as animal lovers we are here for it! On Feb 11, word broke via social media that the popular reselling platform known for its social aspect and recently going public, had added a new category of products that their sellers can choose to offer products in. And yes, it is all about our pets.

On the Poshmark Blog, they announced the arrival of the Pets Category which covers all manner of pet care. From the stylish to the functional, it looks like we have a new place to buy goodies for spoiling our furry friends.

So which pets are covered on the platform? From what we can see not only are our dogs and cats included in the Pets Category, but so are birds, fish, reptiles, and other small pets (think hamsters and gerbils for example).

Obviously this is not a way to actually buy or sell actual animals, which is something the Blog Post noted as well, but it is a great way to support small businesses and spoil our pups (and cats, and birds). Basically it is a win-win situation in our book.

And what if you have too many dog and cat toys (you can never have too many, we are just using a hypothetical here) or perhaps your pup has outgrown a sweater or their food bowls? Why not sell these things off and take that money and buy new goodies for your fur baby.

With Poshmark, you can take those unwanted goodies and sell them in order to pick up something new and wanted. And that means we never have to feel guilty for going overboard and spoiling our fur babies ever again.

We are pretty excited to see the arrival of the Pet Category on Poshmark for a lot of reasons. Not only does this mean we have a chance to find new clothes, toys, and other treats for our pups, but we can also get rid of some the extras we have sitting around unused and unplayed with.
