Now that so many of us are working from home, we have found ourselves with some interesting coworkers. And National Pet Day is the perfect time to celebrate our fuzzy coworkers.
April 11 is National Pet Day and that means it is the perfect time to celebrate with our newest coworkers! After all, over the last few weeks, many of us have found ourselves working from home with our fur babies at our side.
In fact, in many cases, it is our pets that have been designated as our newest work from home coworkers. So, now seems like the best time to celebrate National Pet Day, since they have been helping us get through our work day with a sense of purpose we can’t help but appreciate.
How are we celebrating National Pet Day? Well besides loving on our fur babies like usual, this is the perfect time to give them all the treats as well. Take your dog for a walk (unless of course you have already done that a million times this week). Or you can play fetch/catch with them.

If you’re looking for a less hands-on approach to celebrating National Pet Day, you can always check out the Dogs Working From Home Instagram account, which is a great way to enjoy the working antics of our pups. Of course, you can also check out other Instagram accounts dedicated to dogs, cats, and all of the other pets we love and adore.
Personally, I think cuddling with pups and spending the day with them is the perfect way to enjoy this pet-friendly day. Maybe this is the perfect time to watch some of those classic animated dog movies we all know and love. Or, you could always find a TV series that gives pups the spotlight too.
However you decide to celebrate National Pet Day, this is the perfect time to celebrate your fuzzy coworkers who have come to be the best coworkers we have ever had.
How are you celebrating this pet loving day? Are you enjoying the quality time you have gotten to spend with your pet lately? Let us know in the comments.
