Looking for something adorable to watch on social media right now? Why not watch a wombat playing with their very own BarkBox?

Sometimes you just need something cute to watch to take your mind off of any problems. And luckily for us social media can be a goldmine of cuteness, especially when BarkBox has something to say about it.

Thanks to Instagram, we get to see plenty of the shenanigans that the BarkBox team gets up to, but nothing is quite as cute as when they send one of their boxes to an animal that is actually not a pup. In their latest post, we get to see them sending a box of toys to a very adorable wombat.

It turns out that the BarkBox team sent a box to Wilbur the Wombat down in Australia. And the resulting videos are everything we could have hoped for and more. (Over on Wilbur’s Instagram we get to see not only the video that Bark shared, but also a follow-up video with some of his favorite toys.)

Apparently Wilbur is especially fond of the platypus toy that he received, and he definitely has no problem playing with his new stuffy. Of course, the fact that there is fresh grass available too means that his attention is a bit split.

Even as Wilbur takes the opportunity to grab a snack, he is still enjoying his time with his new friends. And we are here for this cuteness!

We love when BarkBox sends out their boxes for good and sharing their goodies with the adorable wombat is definitely a good deed. In fact, this is the kind of social media content we can’t resist.

Honestly, we can’t wait to see what animal gets a box of toys next. After all, there have been some interesting animals gifted with toys from the Bark family.
