For the first time ever, Austin is hosting an event called Tacos and Doggos, bringing together two of our favorite things!

What do you get when you put tacos and dogs together? The best night ever, of course! And now Austin is hosting their very first ever Tacos and Doggos event, which is giving us our favorite furry friends and a night of tacos.

On Feb. 25, Austin’s Zilker Park is hosting an evening that is set to be filled with all the pets you can handle, good food, and excellent drinks. The Tacos and Doggos event will run from 6 to 9 PM, at the Cosmic Coffee and Beer Garden. And for those unfamiliar with this “garden,” it is a dog-friendly oasis in the city that is the perfect place for an event like this.

And if you are wondering what could make a night of tacos and dogs even better, then have no fear, as we have the answer. According to Narcity, the event is actually free! The only catch is that you have to actually bring your dog with you (it may seem obvious, but you never know).

More from Dog of the Day

This is the perfect time to grab all of your dog owner friends and head out for a night on the town in Austin. And if you or a friend is dog-less and looking to bring one home with you, PAZ Vet and Nulo will also be in attendance at Tacos and Doggos to help you adopt a new furry friend if you are so inclined.

At this time, we are not sure about what’s happening on the tacos side of things, but knowing Austin, there will definitely be some delicious choices once things are finalized. We wouldn’t be surprised if a taco truck or two was part of the inaugural event.

While the Tacos and Doggos event is a freebie, bring your wallet for those tasty treats for you and your furry companion. And have no fear, as there will be more than just beer up for purchase at the event as well.
