Does your dog stay home alone all day? Do you hate leaving them with nothing to do while you’re out? Spotify understands and has a Podcast for those pups that find themselves home alone.

We hate having to leave our dog at home alone all day. But we all know that we have to work if we want to be able to give our fur babies the life they deserve. And besides, we can’t exactly spoil them if we don’t have any money. So, it seems like Spotify understands and wants to help our pups handle those long days without us.

According to NPR, Spotify has launched a special Podcast dedicated to those dogs that find themselves left at home alone while their owners go to work (or wherever else they may be going). The Podcast, or Pupcast as we would call it, will feature relaxing music, sounds to soothe them, and even “dog-directed praise and stories.”

Actor Ralph Ineson is pitching in to help with the praise and stories portion of the Podcast, while it seems Noel King is hosting. And what does Spotify think will happen when your dog listens to their special programming? Well it seems that they are hoping your dog will, “bark less and sleep more.”

Do we think this Podcast will keep our pups entertained while we are away from home? It is entirely possible. But at the same time, we like the idea of leaving something on to keep them company, so we definitely like where Spotify is going with this. Of course, we may have to listen to it first so that we know it is dog appropriate.
