Houston is hosting a Puppies for Breakfast Dog Fest in April
Is there anything better than a day of food, fun, and puppies? Probably not! And in Houston they are capitalizing on this idea with their Dog Fest in April.
Do you live in or around the Houston area? Do you have a dog that you would love to spend the day with enjoying brunch and a good time? Then you may want to head to the Dog Fest they are hosting in April.
On April 11, Houston will be hosting their Puppies for Breakfast Dog Fest at Market Square Park. While tickets are technically free, they are asking for a small donation to help the local dog rescue, and any little bit will help. The recommended donation is $5, which is definitely a small price to pay to help out dogs in need, while also enjoying a nice day at the park with your pup.
The Puppies for Breakfast Dog Fest will feature plenty of things to do with your dog, thanks to the 50 vendors that will be on hand to make this a fun day. Not only will there be two play areas for the pups to enjoy, but there will be plenty of shopping, a giant dog pinata (said to be the biggest in the world), dog treat trucks, breakfast food trucks, and even vet trucks.
And that’s not all. There will be more than one dog rescue on hand, a contest or two, and of course plenty of brunch friendly drinks.
According to Narcity, this is also the 10th anniversary of this event, which means that they are planning to celebrate in style. This means hosting a Big Tiny Dog Race which will have small dogs wearing bunny or hot dog costumes as they race to the finish line. And the big dogs won’t be left out, as there is a costume contest for them as well.
