Food trucks have continued to grow in popularity to the point where they are no longer a trend, they are a restaurant revolution. And now that revolution is turning its focus to the dogs.

When it comes to our dogs, we are always looking for the next great trend. Not only do we love spoiling our pups, but if we can do it in a way that is fun and entertaining then we are likely going to do it. And that’s why we love the growing popularity of food trucks for dogs (and other pets).

With so many places feeling the love for food trucks, the idea of having one that caters to our dogs is the perfect way to make this trend feel complete. As more and more restaurants offer dog friendly outdoor seating, we can’t help but think the perfect creation ever is the dog food truck.

How awesome would it be to head to the local park with your pup, snag some lunch from a local food truck, and grab a treat for your pup to enjoy as well? Well, now you can, at least in some parts of the country.

In a special feature by USA Today, the outlet highlighted five different trucks that are all about catering to our furry friends. One of the first trucks they highlighted was The Seattle Barkery, which has two menus that will please both pups and people.

What makes this truck so special, is the fact that their Instagram account is a testament to how magical this trend really could be. From pictures of the baby blue truck with their Dog and Human menus, to the dogs enjoying the treats they get from the Barkery, this is the kind of trend we could see exploding thanks to the success of The Seattle Barkery. And they are certainly not alone in their efforts to make dog food trucks more than just a novelty.

Another dog food truck that is helping kick this trend into high gear is the Fetch Treat Truck in Alabama. Here is a truck that offers both baked treats and dog friendly ice cream, which is perfect for summer outings with your pup.

This lavender truck is a treasure for the people of Birmingham, as they provide the community with pupsicles, cookies, and other treats just for our pups. And since they tend to arrive at the local Farmer’s Market, you can get your own goodies while you are picking up a treat for the dog.

Finally, if you are looking for a dog food truck in Texas, you likely won’t be surprised that there happens to be one in Austin. The first of its kind in the state, according to their Instagram account, this truck is all about the pups as well.

From locally made treats to unique offerings like kangaroo jerky, the Bow Wow Bones dog food truck is an experience you and your pup won’t want to miss. Considering how impressive the food truck scene is in Austin, we hope Bow Wow Bones is able to show those other food trucks how its done.

We love the fact that there are finally food trucks for our pups too. It makes taking them to the park, the Farmer’s Market, or even just for a walk so much more fun and exciting. We get to spoil them and they get to enjoy something new. And we are all for this kind of pup trend.
