Kourtney Kardashian brought home a new puppy for Christmas and then she had to defend herself from trolls over her other pup, Honey.

For Christmas this year, Kourtney Kardashian brought home a puppy as a new addition to the family. And while you would think that was a sweet thing to do, it seems like there are people in the world who need to troll anything the Kardashian’s do (especially on social media).

According to People Magazine, after Kardashian shared the post about the new addition to her family (the pup doesn’t seem to have a name just yet), Instagram users were quick to ask pointed questions about the family’s other pup, Honey the Pomeranian.

One user asked, “do they just get rid of dogs for new ones.” And this user was not alone in questioning the reality star. Another user said the puppy would be, “temporary since you never keep your dogs.”

Kourtney Kardashian, who is probably sick of being accused of things unfairly, was quick to respond to the backlash by saying, “Of course we still have Honey our baby Pom Pom.”

While Honey has not made an appearance on Kardashian’s Instagram since October, that really doesn’t mean much. After all, the family’s animals don’t make as many appearances as you might expect.

Considering how much the family seems to love their animals (we have seen how Khloe reacted after the loss of one of her pups), the last thing we would think is that Kourtney Kardashian would get rid of a dog just because she brought home a new puppy. Sometimes it seems like we hate on the Kardashian’s just to hate on them. And in this case, I can’t blame the reality star from snapping back at the trolls.

Even with the negativity that popped up after Kardashian shared her puppy news, it seems like she is taking it all in stride and enjoying having a new addition to her family. Hopefully we will see more of the new pup, but with the reaction she got to sharing the adorable news, we wouldn’t be surprised if she chose not to post more pictures or videos of the puppy.
