Nightwing has finally arrived on Titans, and Krypto has been reunited with the team. But there was a major loss to the team that will change their future.

The second season of Titans has come to an end with a bang. Not only did we finally see Dick Grayson become Nightwing (which we have been waiting for), but we also saw two major deaths, and the return of Gar, Conner, and Krypto.

First we have to mention the fact that we have no clue what happened to Krypto while he was MIA and we have no clue how he was saved from Cadmus. The only reason we even know that he was, is because he showed up to help the team save the day in the final moments of the episode.

At the end of the day, we are just excited to see Krypto back in action with the team. After all, we have spent the entire second season of Titans watching out for this heroic pup, so knowing he is probably sticking around is the kind of news we needed.

This episode also delivered Dick Grayson as Nightwing, and it was epic. It’s like Dick has finally found his place as a Titan and it’s about time. Seriously, he was amazing as a hero, and he was finally the leader the team needed.

More from Dog of the Day

One of the major death’s this episode was that of Deathstroke, which means at least we know that one of the villains of the season was handled. And the fact that his death came at the hands of his daughter seemed poetic. As an added bonus, Jericho was rescued from his father’s body, although that meant jumping into his sister’s body.

The second death of the episode was a serious blow to the team, as we lost Donna Troy. After saving the day and rescuing Gar and Conner from Cadmus, Dawn was trying to save people at the amusement park from a falling ride. In an effort to save her friend, Donna stopped Dawn from being crushed, but was electrocuted in the process.

Honestly, this death is hard to handle, as it is definitely a major loss for the Titans. And it will be interesting to see how the team deals with the loss, even as they seem to have come together as the Titans with Conner, Rose, and Krypto on their side.

This second season saw the team broken apart for so long that this finale was truly satisfying in so many ways. However, it remains to be seen how the Titans move forward with Dick Grayson taking on the Nightwing persona, and Conner learning how to be Superboy, as well as all the other issues they will have to contend with.
