The Titans have clearly fallen apart in ‘Fallen.’ And even Krypto is unable to save the day against Cadmus and the team’s own self-destruction.

If ever there was a time when we could say that the Titans were not a team, this would be it. Following the events of ‘Atonement,’ we knew things were only going to go downhill, but we could not have predicted what would happen in ‘Fallen.’ In fact, not even Krypto was able to save the day for our heroes.

Perhaps the saddest moment of the entire episode was when Conner decided to send Krypto away for his own good. In an effort to try to save Krypto from all the people coming after him, Conner decided to basically yell at his dog and send him off into the world.

Of course, Krypto is smarter than that and headed straight for Titans tower and Gar. This was both a good thing and a bad thing. Not only did it ultimately lead to the three of them reuniting, but it also led to all of them being captured by Cadmus.

Seriously even with Krypto being able to do some amazing work and taking out one of the Cadmus guys using some serious acrobatics, it was simply not enough. And our poor super pup ended up in a net laced with Kryptonite, while Gar ended up being tranquilized.

But it was not just Gar, Krypto, and Conner who were having a bad few days. We also saw Dick in prison and with a sentence of seven years with no parole (so far), things are not looking good for the Titans’ leader. And that doesn’t even take into account the fact that Donna cannot find Raven, and Raven is off killing people (he may have deserved to be shaken up, but death seems harsh).

The fact that we don’t even know what is happening with Jason, Starfire, Dawn, and Hank doesn’t instill us with all that much confidence in their success separated from the team either. This is especially true when we think of the last time we saw these four, things were not going so great.

Honestly, the Titans have fallen apart and we don’t know what is going to save them at this point. Hopefully Krypto, Gar, and Conner can be saved from Cadmus, and perhaps even Dick can be redeemed. At this point, though, it’s not looking good for our heroes.
