Lois Lane and Superman might be getting their own Arrowverse series, but one Daily Planet pupper isn’t too thrilled with this arrangement.

Lois Lane and Superman are THE couple of comic books (sorry Diana and Steve, or Peter and MJ).

Thus it isn’t really that surprising that they’re getting their own Arrowverse series on The CW, as the news broke Monday, October 28. This was covered by most entertainment news outlets, including TVLine.

It will be titled Superman and Lois, and will star Tyler Hoechlin (7th Heaven, Teen Wolf) and Elizabeth Tulloch (Grimm) in reprising their title roles from Supergirl.

Greg Berlanti (Riverdale) and Todd Helbing (The Flash) will be the executive producers along with Sarah Schecter and Geoff Johns.

But Lois Lane’s dog isn’t on board with this plan so much.

As Tulloch’s Frenchie Henry posted on his Instagram, “I’m excited for my mama, but let’s be honest: I should be the only man in her life.”

He also included the hashtag #IWasHereFirst, which adds to the hilarity of the quickly- and obviously-dog-done Photoshop job of his face superimposed on Superman’s body.

Henry is a little shaky on his feet, as his handle @HenryTheWobblyFrenchie implies, due to suffering from a spinal-cord stroke called a fibrocartilaginous embolism. He comes from Road Dogs and Rescue, which is also where Ovie the Bulldog‘s sister Saffy Bean was came from.

He belongs to Tulloch and her real-life husband David Giutoli (13 Hours, Grimm, A Million Little Things).

Tulloch, whose Arrowverse debut was on The Flash episode “Elseworlds, Part I” (5.09), has or will appear on Supergirl, Arrow, Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow as well.

She is the fourth actress to portray Lois Lane on live-action television after Noel Neill, Teri Hatcher and Erica Durance in The Adventures of Superman, Lois and Clark and Smallville, respectively.

Phyllis Carter, Margot Kidder, Kate Bosworth and Amy Adams have played the role in films.

We hope that Henry will at least get a cameo on Superman and Lois, because Krypto needs a buddy, right?
