The Titans episode titled ‘Bruce Wayne’ may have been an introspective look into Dick Grayson’s psyche, but it still let Krypto shine.

A lot happened in the seventh episode of Titans second season. Not only did the team save Conner’s life, but we got to see a deep dive into Dick Grayson’s psyche courtesy of his visions of Bruce Wayne. But as dog fans, we were on the lookout for Krypto, and the show did not disappoint.

Not only did we get to see Krypto fly, but we even got to see more of his personality and ability to understand what was happening around him. The pup may not be able to talk, but he is definitely able to convey his own thoughts with a tilt of the head.

While much of the episode was focused on Dick’s guilt over what is happening with the rest of his team, as well as his own part in what is happening now, we still have to appreciate the fact that Krypto is back with Superboy. After all, the last time we saw him he was being kidnapped by Mercy Graves.

However, with the help of Eve, Krypto is able to escape his confinement at Lex Luthor’s lab. And this meant we got to see him use his laser vision and his ability to fly. Basically, this was the super pup’s time to shine. Of course, as an added bonus, it was cute seeing him react to Conner’s illness and even the discussion of how to save him.

And yes, we loved the reunion between Krypto and Superboy, as it was a lighter moment in the midst of the drama and tension on Titans. These two are a bit of fresh air on the show, and we definitely needed that throughout ‘Bruce Wayne,’ as Dick was forced to face the fact that he is the reason everything has gone wrong for the team.

Although we did not see a lot of Superboy and Krypto, we definitely saw enough to know that they were there and perhaps even that their story matters. Perhaps they will be exactly what the Titans need to defeat Deathstroke without suffering further damage and destruction.

But now we have to see what comes next not only for the Titans, but also for Krypto and Superboy as part of this team.
