Titans just released a new clip featuring Krypto and Superboy and it is clear that these two are ready for their close up and looking to rumble.
It looks like our Krypto watch is finally coming to an end on Titans. And thanks to a new clip posted to Twitter on Oct. 9, we are going to see Superboy and his heroic pup in action sooner than we thought.
While we already knew that the next episode of Titans was titled “Connor,” after Superboy (that’s his non-superhero name), with this show you can never tell exactly what to expect from a single episode. But, if this new teaser is anything to go by, it is not going to take long for Krypto and Connor to get in on the super action.
While the teaser hints at a confrontation between men in tactical gear and our dynamic duo, there is no sign of them meeting up with the Titans just yet. However, we are totally okay with this, as we are just excited to finally have Krypto on our screens.
Not only do we get to see Connor breaking himself and Krypto out of the lab we saw at the end of the first season, but this confrontation also gives us a look at both of our heroes’ powers. Krypto clearly has many of the same abilities as Superman himself, and Superboy seems to be right there with him. This means that flying and laser eyes are on the menu and we can’t wait to see how that works with a team of heroes that includes the hero formerly known as Robin (we couldn’t resist calling Dick Grayson this as we wait for his transformation into Nightwing), Raven, and Beast Boy.
That being said, we can’t wait for Superboy and Krypto to actually meet the rest of the Titans. This is going to be so much fun, especially considering the way things are going with the rest of the team right now. Perhaps some fresh blood is exactly what they need to deal with their enemies and their own issues.
We can’t wait for Krypto and Superboy to officially grace our screens. And hopefully they stick around and become permanent members of the Titans. After all, they are the perfect sidekicks in their own right and they deserve some of that spotlight usually reserved for Superman.
