Football season is officially in full swing and that means it’s time to countdown to one of our favorite events of the year – Puppy Bowl!

As dog lovers, there are some events we look forward to every year. And while many of them revolve around dog shows, there is one puppy-centric event that we have football to thank for. The yearly Puppy Bowl is the dog lovers answer to the Super Bowl.

And of course, now that football season is here, this means it is time to countdown to Animal Planet’s 2020 Puppy Bowl. The question is, what’s the best way to make that happen?

According to People Magazine, with the help of Animal Planet, your countdown to the big day will be just as cute and entertaining as the game itself. Called the Road to the Puppy Bowl, the series is a collaboration between the NFL and Animal Planet to help promote how important it is to adopt over shopping.

Not only will Animal Planet be working hard all season to help pups find their forever homes, but we will also get the chance to see how the teams come together and what goes into their training. Essentially this is a sneak peek into how Team Ruff and Team Fluff come together.

Of course, with Puppy Bowl not happening until Super Bowl Sunday, we have quite a way to go before we get to meet the teams of Fluff and Ruff. And this is why we are excited for what Animal Planet has in store for us over the next few months.

It is said that the 2020 Puppy Bowl is going to be bigger and better than ever, and while we have to wait to find out what that means, at least we get to see videos of puppy tackles, puppy kisses, and basically everything that makes puppies so great.

We may have to wait for Super Bowl Sunday to enjoy the Puppy Bowl, but with the help of Animal Planet, it looks like we will have enough cuteness to tide us over. As an added bonus, it is also wonderful to know that they are continuing their mission of helping rescue pups find new homes as we countdown to the big game.
