Chris Evans playing with puppies is all we need to make any day better

At the Toronto International Film Festival, plenty of artists are promoting their new projects, including Chris Evans. But it was really all about the puppies.

While visiting the Entertainment Weekly booth at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote his new movie, Knives Out, Chris Evans gave us internet gold. As a known dog lover, it makes sense that the actor would go gaga over getting to play with puppies. And now we have the perfect video of Evans cuddling puppies at TIFF.

Here’s the thing about the video, there is such unbridled joy emanating from Chris Evans that you can’t help but smile. And the fact that he is so happy to see a puppy and then get to play with it, is just a solid reminder that the actor is absolutely as much of a dog lover as the rest of us.

And it’s not just Chris Evans freaking out over this pup, as the dog clearly knows he is meeting Captain America. In the video, you not only see the puppy cling to the actor, but Evans even points out that the dog is grabbing him.

Honestly, I am not sure if jealousy is the right reaction, but after watching this interaction I am not sure who I am more jealous of, the pup or Evans. But really the joy on the actor’s face when he sees the puppy is priceless, and the fact that he has no problem hugging, petting, and even kissing that furry face makes us love him even more.

We always knew that Chris Evans was a dog lover, after all, he often shares pictures and videos of his own pup, and even pays tribute to any of his dogs that have passed away. But, when you see a video like this, that is not only off the cuff, but also so joyful, it really acts as the perfect reminder that we actually know the one weakness that Captain America possesses, and of course it is puppies.

As fans of not only Evans, but also puppies, we are so glad that EW had puppies on hand at TIFF. After all, it really did give us the most epic video of the weekend, and one that will make even a Monday seem tolerable.

Of course, Chris Evans was not the only celebrity who got to play with puppies, as EW’s Instagram story featured everyone from Priyanka Chopra to Jamie Lee Curtis getting to play with and cuddle the TIFF pups. (Puppies and celebrities for the win.) This weekend might be all about film, but with the help of these pups, there was definitely a bit of fun and cuteness added to the film festival.
