Jake Gyllenhaal is doing press for his latest movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home. And that means he had the chance to talk to BuzzFeed while playing with puppies.

Press tours can be difficult for actors, and often times they start to feel repetitive, even to the readers looking for all the news that’s fit to print. But when you incorporate puppies into an interview, everything changes. And the latest celeb to answer questions while playing with puppies is Spider-Man: Far From Home‘s Jake Gyllenhaal.

The greatest thing about this interview was not hearing the actor answer questions from his fans – it was watching him interact with these fur babies. Not only did he not seem upset in the least that his sweater was getting destroyed by tiny claws and teeth (he even suggested the pups pee and poop on the sweater after the interview so he could send it to his friend Ryan Reynolds), but he actually cuddled the puppies close at every opportunity.

And sure the point of this interview was to learn more about Gyllenhaal and his new movie, but even he had a hard time answering questions in the face of so much cuteness.

At one point, the actor kept interrupting himself in order to interact with the puppies in his lap. And he even compared them to his Spider-Man co-star, Tom Holland, a comparison we can totally get behind in the best possible ways.

Of course, we were totally here to learn more about Jake Gyllenhaal, but when even he can’t resist saying things like “who cares about theaters and movies, we have puppies,” you know you have to agree.

Honestly, if you really want to hear what the actor had to say about his role in Spider-Man, who he thinks his sister should play in a Marvel movie, and how he feels about Donnie Darko, it might be best to watch the interview for yourself. Of course, if you are anything like us you may have to watch and listen a few times because watching him play with these puppies will end up stealing all of your focus.
