Ashley Tisdale is attending her first Beverly Hills Dog Show, and the actress and singer can’t resist sharing her excitement.

On April 21, Purina will be presenting the third annual Beverly Hills Dog Show. While the show is only in its third year, it is already a big deal in the show dog world, as it has attracted over 1,500 canine competitors, across 200 breeds of dog. And the show isn’t just a big deal to dogs, it is also a big deal for celebrity dog lovers like Ashley Tisdale.

According to People Magazine, Tisdale will be attending her first Beverly Hills Dog Show alongside her own furry friend, Maui. Speaking to the magazine, the actress said that this will actually be her “first dog show,” although she has certainly watched them on television in the past.

Ashley Tisdale explained that she is excited for two things this weekend, getting to see all of the dogs that will be at the show, as well as seeing how her own pup reacts to all of the dogs that will be there. And while you may be wondering if there is a future for Maui as a show dog, according to Tisdale, the answer is no.

The actress said that Maui is more of a watcher when it comes to something like the Beverly Hills Dog Show. Even though the pup may be very smart, the actress thinks that perhaps Maui believes he is more human than dog. And we can totally understand that idea, considering how often our dogs act like they are people and not pets.

With her own pup out of the running for best in show, Tisdale was asked who she wanted to see win the competition. And like any good dog lover, the actress explained, “I don’t want to limit my pick to one breed. I am rooting for them all!”

Much like Ashley Tisdale, we have a hard time picking just one pup to win at any dog show, as we want them all to win. Luckily we don’t have to choose a winner, so we can root for them all right alongside the actress.
