Corgi cafe in Thailand is a pup lover’s paradise
As dog lovers, when we travel, we don’t always get to bring our pups with us. But places like the Corgi cafe in Thailand are a pup loving paradise.
In Bangkok, Thailand, there are plenty of things to do and see, but if you are a dog lover, there is one place you really need to check out, the Corgi cafe. That’s right there is a cafe fit for any Corgi lover.
According to KSNT, three times a day, 12 Corgis rush out to greet patrons of the cafe. Unsurprisingly, people really love the pup friendly location, and they are even willing to pay a bit extra in order to spend time with these adorable pups.
The owner of the cafe admitted that she never planned to open a Corgi cafe, but the entire concept really fell into her lap. It turns out that a surprise litter of puppies changed her mind, and led to a business concept that has seen her cafe soar with the customers.
Considering this is one of the friendliest breeds of dog out there, it makes sense that people would want to spend some time with these short-legged fur babies. Not only are the dogs quite charming, but they have no problem doing tricks and shaking hands with the patrons of the cafe.
While customers can give a little treat to the Corgis who come up to them, the owner made it clear that she understands it is important to pay attention to their weight. She said that she makes sure that the pups do not gain too much weight, even though they are allowed treats here and there.
The specific breed of Corgi that the cafe houses are the Pembroke Corgis, which is the same breed that Queen Elizabeth II has long favored. This is one of the most popular breeds, and of course it makes sense that having a Corgi cafe anywhere in the world would be a true success.
We are certainly not surprised to learn that the cafe has seen an increase in business thanks to their friendly pups. Honestly, we think this is a great idea that could become a travel phenomenon, after all, who wouldn’t want to visit a Corgi cafe if they had the chance? And if that dog friendly cafe happens to be in a new country, that would make traveling even more fun.
We are always down for some puppy love. And getting to enjoy some of that love on vacation seems even better.
