Harrison Ford was one of the star’s featured in this year’s Super Bowl commercials. And his Alexa dog collar spot is one of the real winners.

This year there were plenty of new Super Bowl commercials to sink our teeth into, like the Avocados from Mexico featuring Kristen Chenoweth, or even the latest Budweiser commercial featuring a Dalmatian. However, the real winner of the night had to be Harrison Ford and his Amazon Alexa commercial featuring the failed dog collar.

The spot was actually part of a larger commercial featuring failed Alexa gadgets, although there is a solo commercial featuring just Ford and an adorable Boston Terrier. In both pieces, we get to see the collar which was designed specifically to understand our canine companions.

As the commercial cuts to Harrison Ford’s portion of the ad, we see his pup barking multiple times, as Alexa can be heard saying “ordering dog food.” The actor then tells his dog that he is not going to pay for any more food. Of course, it doesn’t seem as if the pup takes this news well, as he runs through the house barking and ordering everything from gravy to sausage.

Although Ford tells the pup to cancel the order, it turns out he doesn’t and we see a massive shipment of dry dog food arrive at the house. As the dog and the actor stand there looking at the delivery, he lets the pup know that he is not speaking to him for this.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I think this is too cute. Of course, I would hate to have my dog bark a few times and order multiple bags of dog food. In fact, I bet it would get extremely costly over time.

And sure the ad might have been a promotion for the new Alexa microwave currently available on Amazon, but we can’t help but think it is the perfect commercial for any Alexa product. Well, maybe not this failed dog collar.

This may be our favorite commercial of the entire Super Bowl, especially considering how often we fail at using Alexa now.
