It’s officially a new year and that means looking back at the past year and reminiscing. But for the Dogs of Instagram, celebrating the New Year was more about stylish fun instead.

For a lot of us, ringing in the New Year was about staying in and enjoying time with loved ones and our furry friends. And while not all dogs are fans of big celebrations and the spectacle of holidays like New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, for the dogs of Instagram, there were plenty of pups ready to ring in 2019 in style.

Considering the New Year signifies the end of the holidays and the start of a fresh year we couldn’t miss the opportunity to check in with these delightful pups and see how they chose to party the night away. The dogs of Instagram certainly did not disappoint, as they gave us plenty of fun and stylish posts that proved once again that these pups are here to slay.

Like this pup, who donned their very own New Year’s hat and what looks like a lei, the dogs of Instagram were ready to party all night long. Now, whether they actually made it to midnight remains a mystery, but either way they were stylish and cute for the start of 2019.

Jazz was ready for the New Year wearing a bow tie and sharing a message for all of “my furiends.” This pup is ready for a fun year of being good and getting all the attention, and we are here for it. And of course, if you check out all of Jazz’s Instagram posts, you will be just as down for the adventure as we are.

And can we just talk about this pup, who was clearly all smiles welcoming in a New Year. We love everything about this picture, from the awesome hat to the falling confetti, and of course the adorable pup who looked happy to see 2019.

This pup was ready for 2019, rocking oversized glasses with the year on them. And we have to say we adore this picture, especially with how overwhelmingly huge these glasses look on this Pomeranian’s little face.

Then there is Brooks and Barley who not only wore their finest for New Year’s Eve, but are ready with their resolutions for the new year. Particularly, they are looking for more treats and of course naps in 2019. And we can’t blame them for wanting more of both of these things. (In fact, we would totally give them all the treats they wanted.)

Finally, no celebration would be complete without a bit of the aftermath. And clearly this pup partied hard. But now it is time for a nap and a day of recovery, which we completely agree with.

All of the dogs of Instagram seemed to get into the spirit of the New Year, with plenty of messages of happiness and good tidings for 2019. And we can’t wait to see what all of these pups have in store for us in the coming year. If 2019 is anything like 2018, we can expect more fun and cuteness, which we are completely ready for.
