Next to the bulldog, their the only other small breed to make this list. This is because their personality is fitting for most households. They’re a perfect size if you live in an apartment or condo. These dogs don’t take up much room but their personality will. Always happy, these little pooches will always be by your side and give plenty of love to your children. They also make great pint size watch dogs. Their small yelp is not as overwhelming as most dogs’ barks.

English Bulldog

A beloved breed by most, the English Bulldog’s temperament is for everyone. Quite the couch potato, they love to snuggle and be near the ones they love. Although, they come with an array of health issues, these dogs are pretty low maintenance. Short haired, which is perfect for grooming, they won’t need much looking after. They are slow movers and aren’t prone to aggressive behavior, which makes them perfect for small children. Absolutely adorable and fun-loving, this dog will make a good addition to any household.
